Summary of Current Research at TBS
There are currently 65 active research projects underway at the Tiputini Biodiversity Station (TBS). The graphic above illustrates the breadth of research currently active at TBS, with projects ranging from broad inquiry into biodiversity dynamics, to research on flora and on specific groups of animal taxa. Through currently active community collaborations with our Amazonian neighbors, we hope to soon add a human society focus to this list. TBS facilitates research from diverse fields by providing a secure and comfortable natural laboratory to national and international researchers and students. We also directly conduct research and collaborate with many visiting researchers on joint projects. Our current and past research footprint reflects our commitment to advancing scientific understanding across multiple disciplines within the incredible diversity of the northeastern Ecuadorian Amazon.
Active Projects
Research at the Tiputini Biodiversity Station (TBS) abounds! We are in the process of highlighting current TBS monitoring efforts and are working with researchers to upload features of their work.
Past Projects
The Tiputini Biodiversity Station has a long and rich history of facilitating neotropical research. We will soon be uploading profiles of these historical projects.
